This part of the web site is designed to give you a little more information on the more mundane part of sending your child to nursery, i.e. the practicalities involved with the contract formed between us the nursery and you the parent in placing your child in our care. Most of this web site tells you what you can expect from Active Learning. However, there are things that we need from you too, and these are detailed in our terms and conditi0ns section.

We also attempt to answer in advance most of the ‘frequently asked questions’ that many parents ask when sending their child to nursery for the first time. There are so many things to consider but obviously we can also explain most of these when you visit us.

The Government funding section is also an attempt to keep you up to date with the latest situation and news relating to Government Funding, how it works, and other funding options which may or may not be available to you. We do try and keep this up to date but obviously legislation is changing constantly so for an absolute report, please also refer to Government web sites.
