 Putting safety and security first- Linking parents with the nursery at any hour of the nursery day
Safety and security is every parents biggest concern. At Active Learning we have installed a full security system utilising the latest web cam technology and also train our staff in vital security procedures. All of our staff have the highest level police checks possible, and are trained in both security and health and safety matters. The law only requires a local police check for nursery staff, which can miss anything not recorded at the local police station. We insist on the full Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check for all staff.
All our staff are well trained in first aid and in how to deal with emergencies. Staff skills are acquired, maintained and enhanced through ongoing, regular training.
Our records are kept up to date so we can always contact parents or designated alternates in an emergency.The very latest webcams have been installed in every room of the nursery. Parents of enrolled children, through a controlled password system, and only they, can access images of all the rooms at any time during the day helping you to stay closer to your child and to get a taste of what activities they are involved in..
The premises are wholly secure and only authorised parents or named contacts may enter, or pick up a child. Cameras have also been added around the nursery for added security.
