I teach the children about the world in which they live and love bringing new activities to the children. Michelle, Performing Arts Teacher Working at Active Learning gives me an opportunity to inspire children in our Performing Arts Studio. Encouraging children to attain a love of music has always been my passion. At Active Learning the children have a chance to be exposed to a wide variety of music from classical, jazz and world music. In the studio our lessons cover areas such as singing, dance and movement. With excellent facilities and lovely energetic children, a day at Active Learning is always full of fun.

Helen, Language and Literacy Champion As Language and Literacy Champion I have the freedom to plan my own lessons and so do a wide range of activities. These vary from role play to drawing to cooking.
I find teaching phonics particularly rewarding as the children learn new letters, grow in confidence and begin to learn their first words.

It's been an amazing journey to see the whole concept grow from initial plans to a thriving, buzzing nursery group. I've been able to see all our thoughts and ideas come to fruition. Our children are excited, animated and deeply involved in their activities. As a principal I see the same excitement, animation, involvement and enthusiasm from our excellent staff. Based on my success at opening and developing the first Active Learning nursery I've been promoted to our first Regional Principal. I'm loving every minute of it!
