Bill Zuckerman, Managing Director

• Bill is the founder of Active Learning and is an ex Global Consulting Partner for Ernst & Young, Previously to that he has worked as a consultant with Monitor Group and Booz.Allen & Hamilton
• He has also worked with two small/start up nursery groups prior to Active Learning and decided that he wanted to set up his own nurseries. Bill is passionate about classical music and the Arts and is a primary force in developing the cultural theme which is a fundamental feature of how Active Learning operates
  

Amanda Johnson, Group Operations Consultant

• Amanda was one of the original founders and directors of Teddies Nurseries Ltd which was sold to the BUPA group in 2000, along with Nick Botterill. The group was founded in 1991 and grew to 21 nurseries at the time of sale. She has also worked as a management consultant in business strategy.
• Amanda adores all sports and believes strongly in the concept of all different types of sport being introduced to children from the earliest age and remaining a strong feature of childhood, all through their school life, as a means of ensuring children develop healthily, and with all the character and life skills that an excellent sports curriculum achieves.

Nick Botterill, Group Financial Control and Development Consultant

• Joint founder and Director of Teddies Nurseries Ltd. 1991-2000 with Amanda Johnson. Previous to Teddies, Nick had also worked at the Royal Bank of Canada UK in international corporate finance
• Responsible in Active Learning for Development, Finance and strategic development.

Edward Cahn, Property Acquisition and Development

• Property developer, working actively within the D1 sector since 1995.
• Consultant to Teddies Nurseries Ltd. from 1995 – 2002. Responsible for all aspects of property development including property sourcing and acquisition, planning and compliance as well as full project management of developments through to turnkey operations.
